When applied to the chest of a ram, makes bright, long-lasting marks to easily identify which ewes have been bred.

How to Use
-When using vegetable oil: Mix 2 parts powder to 1 part oil into a thick paste.
-When using mineral oil: Mix 2 parts powder to 1-1/2 parts of mineral oil into a thick paste.
Use OB gloves (to help keep your hands clean) and rub paste into the lower neck/brisket. Apply fresh raddle to brisket every 2 to 5 days. Wool or hair growth of 2 to 3 months on the brisket helps to absorb/release the paste.
Precautions
Usually takes more than one application. More mess than a breeding harness.
Marks are not always scourable?particularly if vegetable oil is used.
It is difficult to remove all of the raddle from the animal’s chest in order to change colors mid-season. If you plan to switch colors, go bright to dark or green/red/blue.
Raddle works best with wooled breeds of sheep. The fiber of hair sheep and goats does not hold the raddle as efficiently as wool.
