Procumbens Spruce is a ground-hugging blue spruce that brings the striking silvery blue color of Colorado Blue Spruce to a completely different dimension in your garden. Staying just 12 inches tall but spreading up to 10 feet wide over time, it fills large horizontal spaces with a dense, low carpet of ornamental blue needles that hold their color through every season of the year. Its branches can cascade dramatically over the edge of a retaining wall or rocky slope, or spread in stiff horizontal layers across a flat area, giving it a sculptural, almost architectural presence that few groundcovers can match.
