- Easy Cleaning: If the feeder is emptied frequently, simply run hot tap water through the flip-top, flushing all nectar and thoroughly rinsing before refilling. In addition, at least once a week wash by hand with hot tap water and a weak vinegar solution or dish soap. Be sure to rinse and dry the feeder thoroughly before refilling. For times when nectar has dried, the feeder may require a good soak. Additionally, the feeder easily comes apart for a deep clean when needed.
