Edstrom’s Cool Sense™ Motion Controlled Cooling System is a temperature-controlled, motion-activated system that cools your cows as they exit the milking parlor. This system is adaptable to various exit lanes and barn configurations.Set the controller to activate at a desired temperature as the cows walk through the showering area — activation of both the front and back sensors triggers the manifold to open and shower the cows

Advantages:

• Workers walking through the showering area will not trigger activation since both sensors need to be activated to start system
• The two high-volume shower nozzles can be adjusted on a single manifold to cover lane widths from 3′ to 10′
• A wider alley should have additional nozzles or a second system for proper coverage
• System can be adjusted to control showering time to minimize water
