Feeding Instructions

Taking care of your dog’s overall health starts by feeding him properly. We suggest using this chart as a guide. Adjust amounts accordingly over time. Please remember these portions are averages and will vary according to age, activity, size and temperament of your Adult dog. Pregnant and lactating female dogs will require 2 – 3 times as much food as Adult feeding guidelines shown.

Puppies start to eat solid foods at 3 – 4 weeks of age and should have free access to solid food from this time until weaning. You may keep PRO PAC® Ultimates™ Overland Red™ before your puppy at all times; most puppies will satisfy their nutritional needs as their appetite dictates. When switching to a new food, gradually increase the new food and decrease the old food over a 7 – 10 day period of time until your pet is completely eating PRO PAC® Ultimates™ Overland Red™.

Transition InstructionsOn days 1 & 2 of the change, you should have plenty of your pets old food left. Fill the bowl with 3 quarters of the old food, and one quarter of PRO PAC Ultimates. On days 3 & 4, add in another quarter, so you have half old food, half PRO PAC Ultimates. On days 5 & 6, mix one quarter old food and 3 quarters PRO PAC Ultimates . On only 7 days, your pet will be on an all-new diet of PRO PAC Ultimates.
