Description

Liquefy sludge and slurry to making pumping easier with AgraSlat Deep Pit Manure Treatment Dispensers. The slim biodegradable manure treatment dispenser drops into any slat with patented time-release technology. It is specifically engineered for filter barns to improve your storage capacity and reduce sludge, crusting, foaming, and odor.

Directions

To calculate gallon storage capacity, measure and multiply: Length x Width x Depth x 7.5 = Total Gallons

Each AgraSlat treats up to 37,500 gallons

Swine Nursery, Grower, Finisher

Deep pits with less than 12 inches of retained bottom sludge

• Add 2 AgraSlats for every 200 head
• Example: 1,200 head requires 12 AgraSlats
• Repeat every 180 days

Deep pits containing more than 12 inches of retained bottom sludge

• Add 2 AgraSlats for every 200 head
• Example: 1,200 head requires 12 AgraSlats
• Repeat every 90-120 days
• Once depth reaches less than 12 inches, repeat every 180 days

Place AgraSlats evenly throughout the system

Swine Farrowing, Gestation, Breeding

• Add 2 AgraSlats for every 80 head
• Example: 480 head requires 12 AgraSlats
• Repeat every 180 days

Crusted Systems

• Do NOT add when firm, heavy crust has accumulated
• Treat with Activator PLUS®, QC Part #340376 prior to using AgraSlat
• Add AgraSlats once crust has been liquefied

Other Details for Treatment

• Always treat to the total pit capacity
• Place evenly throughout the system
• Repeat every 90-180 days, depending on pit conditions
• Systems may need multiple treatments to return to normal operational efficiency
