When and Where to Plant- Select a sunny location andplant when all danger of frost is past and the soil has warmed. For bestresults, cultivate soil and fertilize with vegetable food. To ensure goodpollination, sow seed in blocks of at least 4 rows side by side, rather than onelong single row. For an extended harvest, plant every 3 weeks until earlysummer.
Care and Harvest- Grows best in soil with a pHbetween 6 and 7. Cultivate weekly or mulch between plants and rows to controlweeds. Pick when silks turn brown and ears are firm.
