Description
K-T silver solder contains 98% tin, 2% silver and includes a separate tube of special flux. It is effective for joining silver, nickel alloys and copper. It should be used where a bright shiny finish or strength is important. Not recommended for plumbing repairs. Melts at 450 F with a diameter of .062″. Applications include eyeglasses, jewelry, and is effective on most silver, copper and nickel alloys. 8,000 PSI joint strength. Nontoxic.
