Description
The active ingredient in Ornazin Botanical Insecticide, azadirachtin, is a natural limonoid extracted from the seeds of the tropical Neem tree. This natural compound acts as a powerful insect growth regulator, antifeedant and repellent that provides effective control of many insect pests such as; whiteflies, fungus gnats, leafminers, thrips, aphids, lepidopteran species and several others. Ornazin inhibits the production of the key molting hormone, ecdysone. In the absence of ecdysone, insects are unable to properly molt/pupate, leading to death.
Ornazin is practically odorless with a superior formulation that stays in suspension and doesn’t clog sprayers. It is proven to be non-phytotoxic on most plants and is a valuable addition to any IPM and resistance management program.
