Description

American Plant Food newest bagged product combines urea and ammonium sulfate. It is made with both short-term and long-term nitrogen sources combined with available sulfate sulfur. With the launch of this new line, we are now the nation’s supplier of urea plus ammonium sulfate. This nitrogen-and-sulfur-only fertilizer can be used on soils with adequate levels of phosphorus and potassium and is designed to be a safe alternative to ammonium nitrate.

Application Instructions:Pasture: 150-200 lbs per acre.
Truck Farm/Large Garden (Non-Legume): 7 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. Topdress, water, and add an additional 3 to 4 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. 4 to 5 weeks afterward.
Established Turf: 3 to 4 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. Topdress and water in 3 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. every 8 to 12 weeks.
Flowers, Shrubs, and Hedges: 0.4 lb. (1 cup) per 100 sq. ft. Apply an additional 0.4 lb. per 100 sq. ft. every 12 weeks.
Shade, Fruit, and Nut Trees: Apply 0.3 lb. per in. of the trunk’s diameter.
Timing

For truck farm and large garden, apply preplant and incorporated during the spring.
