Fertilome pruning sealer creates a protective seal for freshly pruned plants. Spray the ends of pruned branches and limbs with the asphalt based product thoroughly to provide a tough, rapid drying coating over pruned areas. This will help protect the plant from moisture loss and sap flow. You can also coat wood tubs and planting pots with pruning sealer to make them waterproof.
